Today's Topic: We use water for...

Today, we are learning about the different uses of water. Teacher Kat listed several things in our daily lives that are related to water and specifically explained the difference between washing and bathing. She then combined these everyday vocabulary words with a game of Pictionary, allowing students to guess each other’s drawings. By using visual memory along with speaking practice, students can effectively understand and learn these terms!

The second game we played was Scattergories, a creative thinking game. Students were divided into groups and had to write down their own answers based on the given questions. However, answers could not be the same as their opponents’, so they had to come up with unique and creative responses. We were pleasantly surprised by many of the fun and interesting answers the students came up with!
