Today's Lesson: Hinoki Village

Today's lesson focused on Hinoki Village. Teacher Katrin integrated previously learned material with the unique features of Hinoki Village, enabling students to acquire new knowledge while also reviewing past lessons. She even brought a kimono mentioned in the textbook to the classroom, allowing students to observe and appreciate it up close.

Next, the teacher elevated vocabulary practice by combining words into phrases and used a Bingo game to reinforce memory. During the game, students took turns flipping cards and saying the corresponding phrases. This not only gave each student a chance to practice but also encouraged teamwork. With the local teacher’s thoughtful grouping, students with stronger foundations could assist teammates when needed, completing challenges together.

Finally, the teacher arranged a mini tour guide activity, where students answered questions about English phrases corresponding to locations on a map. This provided additional opportunities for speaking practice.

The overall lesson was engaging and lively, enhancing students' English skills while fostering a sense of accomplishment and enjoyment in learning!
