2023/07/04 SingChia English Academy Summer Camp

The annual summer camp of SingChia International English Academy was held from 7/3 to 7/5. Many children have signed up for several years in a row, which shows how diverse the course design is!
At the opening ceremony, Principal Xing Jiazhu, Director Xu of the college, and Sophie, the national teaching consultant of the British Capital Center, gave them some words of encouragement, and the children responded enthusiastically without fear of life! It was a very good start!
The theme this time is picnic fun. On the last day of the camp, SingChia International English Academy specially arranged for students to have a picnic in the college! It was really interesting! 
The camp teachers are served by two Taiwanese teachers, Wei and Orianna, and foreign teachers, Debbie and Elelwani. They do four different activities in four venues! Students are divided into four groups, and each can experience different activities! 
Debbie taught everyone how to make a Blanket fort that can be used for picnics and let everyone design their own fort! Elelwani taught children how to make a picnic basket, and they can dress up their favorite food and have a picnic with friends on the third day !
Before the picnic, Mrs. Wei showed everyone the origin of the word picnic. It turned out to be from the French word Pique-nique, which originated from the French nobles. Finally, they opened their gardens for common people to have picnics. She also designed a series of games For the children, it turns out that picnics also have such a reason! 
Orianna also taught you a lot of phrases and sentences about picnics while everyone had a happy picnic. She used paper strips to play Bingo. There are sentences on each note, which can unlock sentences and phrases about picnics.
