In this week’s English class, Ms. Wynne led the students in reviewing last week's lesson, Art in Chiayi City, and introduced a renowned Taiwanese painter—Chen Cheng-po. He was an artist deeply interested in painting and passionate about creating art. Through his story, the teacher encouraged students to reflect on their own interests and invited them to share. From K-pop and science to languages, the students’ responses were wonderfully diverse.

To help students become more familiar with the sentence pattern “I am interested in ______,” Ms. Wynne designed a fun activity called 2 Truths and a Lie. Each student wrote down three things they were interested in, with one of them being false. One student was chosen at random to present their three statements, and the rest of the class tried to guess which one was untrue. The classroom was filled with laughter and lively discussions. Through this activity, students not only practiced their speaking skills but also got to know each other better.
