2025/12/09 Chung Wen Elementary School - Teacher Kezia

Today’s lesson focused on reviewing Units 3 and 4, specifically the phonics patterns oi, oy, ow, and ou.
Through a variety of activities, students reinforced their understanding and deepened their impressions of the sounds.

Students first worked in groups to brainstorm and write down as many related words as possible, such as join, flower, soy, and hour.
They then took turns reading the words aloud and continued group brainstorming to see which team could come up with the most words. The learning atmosphere was energetic and engaging 🔥

Finally, the teacher organized the vocabulary into a “Word Map” game.
Students rolled dice to decide how many steps to move and read the word they landed on, competing with one another to see who could reach the finish line first.
