Ms. Cheska asked the students to look through the Chiayi Adventures to see what it contains. Ms. Cheska then introduced the unit topics in the textbook.

Today, the students needed to complete two tasks: make a name tag and answer three questions about Chiayi — Why do you like Chiayi? What is your favorite place? What is your favorite food?

During the class, the teachers walked around to assist students with their tasks. At the end of the lesson, the teacher randomly selected students to come up to the front and share their answers.
