• Ms. Cheska starts by asking the students some questions, such as: "Have you ever been to Chiayi Train Station?" "What landmarks are there in front of the train station?" Then, the teacher plays a video introducing the history of the train station and discusses with the students what appeared in the video.
• Vocabulary Learning: Each word is paired with a sentence. The teacher explains the vocabulary, and students first read the word and sentence together. Afterward, the groups take turns reading, allowing each student the opportunity for speaking practice.
• At the end of the lesson, Ms. Cheska plays the audio recording of the text, and students read the text along. Next week, there will be an oral test: text reading.
