Today's Lesson: Make Postcards!
In today's class, Teacher Katrin began by reviewing the content learned last week. Using the template sentence, "Alishan is a/an ____ place to visit," students were encouraged to think and then share what kind of place they think Alishan is. By incorporating various template sentence structures, students practiced answering in complete sentences rather than just providing brief English words.
Next, the teacher conducted a comprehensive review of this semester's content to guide students in writing a postcard to a foreign friend. A template was provided for reference, allowing students to freely replace sentences with ones they had practiced in their notebooks. Through writing and reading aloud their postcards, students not only became more familiar with English sentence structures but also enhanced their expression skills. This activity helps lay a stronger foundation for their future English learning.
