Lesson: Weather
Sentence Pattern: How is the weather? It's ______.
Ms. Celi uses related pictures to explain different weather conditions, such as hot, cold, windy, and more.
Then, students play a Monopoly-style board game in two teams—boys vs. girls. Each space on the board shows a weather-related image, and students must work together to answer using the target sentence.
At the end of the lesson, Ms. Celi shows a weather map of Taiwan and randomly selects students to come to the front and identify the location and the local weather condition.
