Theme: Chiayi City God Temple

At the beginning of the class, Teacher Michael had the students form groups and use tablets to search for keywords. Students tried to describe activities that can be done inside the temple. After uploading their sentences, students could refer to the content uploaded by their classmates on the tablets to share and learn from each other.

Next, Teacher Michael introduced important vocabulary related to today’s lesson, including words such as temple, pray, worship, and others connected to the theme, to deepen everyone’s understanding. After introducing the vocabulary, Teacher Michael had everyone watch an introduction video about the Chiayi City God Temple to learn about its history. In the latter part of the lesson, students practiced the sentence pattern "Both of ... are ...," creating example sentences based on the video content to share with the class.
