Today was the final lesson of the Wenhua Road Night Market series. The teacher first prepared several photos of Wenhua Road Night Market and asked students to work in groups to observe the pictures. Using the sentence pattern “V-ing + N,” students described the activities shown in the images by writing phrases such as playing games, drinking tea, and buying clothes on the whiteboard, practicing how to describe the lively atmosphere of the night market in English.

Next, using the sentence pattern “I want to play/buy/eat _____ at Wenhua Road Night Market,” each student wrote in their notebook what they most wanted to do and what food they most wanted to try at the night market.

Finally, the teacher led an interactive Pass the Dice game with music. When the music stopped, the student holding the dice had to share with the class the activity they most wanted to experience at Wenhua Road Night Market. Through this fun and engaging activity, students not only practiced expressing themselves in English but also gained confidence in sharing their own ideas.
