2026/10/02 Linsen Elementary School - Teacher Michelle

Date: October 2, 2026

School & Class: Linsen Elementary School, Class 601

Lesson Topic: Our Alishan Story

Ms. Michelle initiated the lesson by inviting students to share their recent holiday experiences, establishing an engaging and interactive atmosphere. Utilizing the story of Alishan as an instructional scaffold, she introduced core vocabulary and posed essential questions, encouraging students to reflect on their favorite Alishan attractions and the local features they wish to preserve. To reinforce learning, an interactive Kahoot quiz was conducted, guiding students to connect their personal experiences with discussions on the preservation of local culture across past and future contexts.

During the subsequent oral conversation practice, Ms. Michelle introduced and explained five specific role tasks through a guided Q&A session, enabling students to understand structural frameworks and presentation techniques. The students were then divided into small groups for role allocation and collaborative practice, allowing them to experience the practical application, utility, and value of their learning.
