2026/9/24 Teacher Aives & Teacher Debbie
Grade: 4rd Grade
Teacher Aives kicked off the class with a fun and engaging Q&A warm-up, inviting students to share their past hotel experiences and memories. The teacher then led a tour of a special classroom decorated just like a hotel, introducing everyone to today’s theme: "At the Hotel: Roles & Reservations."
The highlight of the lesson was an immersive hotel role-play activity. First, the teacher introduced vocabulary related to staying at a hotel. Students then worked in groups to act out dialogue scripts for hotel staff handling check-ins and check-outs, participating in hands-on real-world simulations.
At the end of the lesson, students completed worksheets, reviewed the target vocabulary, and received stickers or points, showcasing their learning outcomes through fun and engaging interactions.
Today's class with Teacher Debbie took place in the Activity Center, a space specifically designed for dynamic learning that combines English acquisition with creative movement. The session began with hopscotch, stretching, and interactive physical games to practice directional vocabulary and enhance the students' sense of rhythm.
For today's special activity, Teacher Debbie introduced a towel dance, transforming everyday cleaning actions into choreography set to classic Michael Jackson dance tracks, allowing students to use English while staying physically active.
Teacher Debbie guided the class through a variety of activities—from warm-up games to creative movement—allowing students to showcase their English communication and physical skills through fun and engaging interactions.
