Teacher led his students on an English learning adventure into Chiayi’s local natural gem—Beixianghu Park. The lesson began with a short English video, encouraging students to think and respond to questions such as:

• What can you do there?

• What can you see there?

Next, Julian introduced new vocabulary—exercise, protect, tree frogs, and endangered—to help students better understand the dialogue and context. During the speaking practice, the class first read the sentences together. Then, students drew lots and took turns reading aloud individually, which encouraged them to speak up confidently and listen attentively.

Through repeated practice and gentle encouragement, the students gradually built their confidence and became more willing to speak English out loud. Little by little, English stopped feeling scary—and started feeling fun. 🌱😊
