Lesson: 5W's and 1H
At the start of the new school year, Ms. Kimberly is teaching her students how to use the 5W's and 1H question forms, as they will be used frequently in class.
She begins by explaining the meaning of the 5W's and 1H. Then, she provides a short passage for students to practice identifying cause-and-effect relationships and related people, such as: Who is in the story? Where? When? Why? and so on.
Next, students are asked to answer questions. Ms. Kimberly also teaches them how to analyze sentences and underline the words with red and blue lines.
