Teacher Chris greeted students at the classroom door with high-fives and encouraged them to say hello in English. During the lesson, students first recorded key vocabulary and sentence patterns, then learned about one of Chiayi’s famous attractions, Hinoki Village. Through group discussions, they worked together to come up with 15 activities that visitors can do at Hinoki Village, combining English learning with local culture while developing their communication and teamwork skills. Finally, students reviewed the vocabulary through a “Pictionary” activity, using pictures to identify and spell the correct English words, reinforcing their vocabulary through interactive learning.
