Topic: Museum of  Old Taiwan Tiles
This lesson includes the following activities:

1. Vocabulary Teaching & Activity: “Missing Words”
Students review and practice the lesson’s vocabulary through the Disappearing Words activity.
They must create sentences using the assigned vocabulary to deepen their understanding of meaning and usage.
2. Introduction to Museum of  Old Taiwan Tile
Students learn about the origin and background of the museum, gaining a basic understanding of tile-pattern culture.
3. Tile Pattern Guessing Activity
Students observe patterns on the tiles (such as animals, flowers, fruits, etc.), discuss their symbolic meanings with group members, and work together to find the correct answers.

This week is the first lesson of this unit. In next week’s class, students will design their own tile patterns and combine them to form a collective “Tile Wall.”
