Today's Lesson: Chiayi Park

At the beginning of the lesson, Teacher Kat used a small puzzle game to quickly engage students, utilizing Velcro and picture matching to gradually introduce the topic—Chiayi Park!

She guided students using sentence structures they had previously learned, reinforcing their knowledge through oral practice. Whether it was the "Location" or "Transportation" units, the students' enthusiastic participation and responses showed that they still remembered the material well. By the end of the lesson, with the teacher’s guidance, they successfully completed a short English conversation.

When introducing new vocabulary, Teacher Kat went the extra mile by personally visiting each location and recording videos to give students a strong sense of immersion. To reinforce learning, she used a matching game, incorporating pictures, videos, and simple English explanations to help students grasp and retain new concepts.

Notably, the lesson also integrated the principles of SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Leading by example, the teacher actively promoted environmental protection and energy conservation through her own actions. Her dedication to sustainability is truly inspiring and sets a great example for students!
