2025/11/13 Sing-An Elementary School - Teacher John

Lesson: Art in Chiayi City 
Today, Teacher John took the students to learn about Chen Cheng-po, a painter from Chiayi City. At the beginning of the class, Teacher John showed everyone the painting "Chiayi Park." With this painting, he encouraged the students to use their imagination and describe what they saw in the artwork. 
Next, Teacher John presented a series of questions and told the students to find the answers in the upcoming video. The video was played twice, once with Chinese subtitles and once with English subtitles, giving the students enough time to identify key sentences. The students then competed to answer the questions in groups. 
Additionally, when introducing the year Chen Cheng-po was born, Teacher John taught the students how to express years in English, using simple and easy-to-understand methods to help them apply this skill. 
At the end of the lesson, Teacher John reviewed the vocabulary used during the class with example sentences and had the students repeat them aloud to reinforce their memory.
