Storybook: The Elves and the Shoemaker

During today's story time, Ms. Celi told the students the story of the shoemaker. She began with a warm-up activity called "The Shoemaker is Coming." This activity is similar to "Red Light, Green Light." Students followed action commands such as polishing shoes or painting on shoes. When the command sentence "The shoemaker is coming!" was spoken, the students had to freeze.

Afterward, Ms. Celi and students read the storybook together. Ms. Celi asked timely questions about what the students saw in the storybook to train their observation skills. The students responded using complete sentences.

At the end of the lesson, the students completed the exercises in their workbooks related to the unit.
