Today's Lesson: Lantan Scenic Area

At the beginning of the class, Teacher Michael asked students about their knowledge of Chiayi's Lantan. Even when students responded with "I don't know," the teacher offered positive feedback to encourage them to express their opinions actively.

During the vocabulary segment, the teacher not only paired visuals with explanations and slowed his speech but also shared interesting background stories. He also prepared related sentences for students to practice, using a Q&A approach to reinforce their understanding of the vocabulary.

When the lesson reached a certain point, the teacher grouped students into pairs or groups of three. Using the vocabulary word "hobby," students asked each other about their favorite hobbies, ensuring that everyone had ample opportunities to practice speaking English. A co-teacher was present to provide assistance whenever needed.

Through today's lesson, students not only gained more knowledge about Lantan but also enhanced their English communication skills in a fun and interactive environment.
