Today's Lesson: Schools Around the World

Today, Michael introduced students to different types of schools around the world, with a special focus on Bangladesh’s "floating schools." Instead of directly providing the Chinese meanings of vocabulary words, he used images and logical reasoning to guide students in deducing their meanings, helping them move away from rote memorisation.

During the Q&A session, Michael encouraged every student to share their thoughts, and they all participated enthusiastically. As a result, the class benefited from a variety of perspectives.

Interestingly, when Michael asked students for their opinions on floating schools, they all agreed that they were very cool. However, when asked if they would be willing to experience studying in one, not a single student was willing—making for a rather amusing moment.
