Why are there so many easels in Chiayi City? Teacher John introduced the students to a famous painter from Chiayi, Chen Cheng-po, and showed them his renowned paintings. This sparked the students' creativity as they tried to describe what they observed. Next, Teacher John designed a series of questions and played a biographical video about Chen Cheng-po, encouraging the students to discuss and find the answers together from the video: What is the name of the famous painter in the video? Where is he from? In what year was he born? Finally, Teacher John had the students practice a question-and-answer session, helping them learn key vocabulary while gaining an understanding of the art history of Chiayi City.
