2025/10/31 Linsen Elementary School - Teacher Kat
In today's lesson, Teacher Kat gave each group a lucky envelope, successfully capturing the students' attention. Inside the red envelopes were several pictures related to Wenhua Road Night Market. Then, the students were encouraged to use their imagination and describe in English what they might see and do at Wenhua Road.
Next, Teacher Kat used a video she recorded herself to introduce Wenhua Road, repeatedly helping the students review verbs and nouns. For example:
- You can watch people/shows.
- You can buy treats.
- You can eat turkey rice, fish head stew, or tofu pudding.
Teacher Kat also explained the difference between stores and stalls:
- You can explore stores/stalls.
In the latter part of the lesson, Teacher Kat once again gave each group a lucky red envelope, this time containing sentences that corresponded to the pictures. The students brainstormed together to match the sentences with the correct images. Under Teacher Kat's guidance, they practiced reading the sentences aloud repeatedly to reinforce their memory.
Finally, Teacher Kat invited students to come to the front of the class to answer questions by matching the correct descriptive sentences to the pictures. As a final exercise, the top three students with the highest scores received small gifts prepared by Teacher Kat.
