2023/07/19-2023/07/21 全美僑英E-around Online Camp

The "全美僑英暑期線上英語營", which is always warmly welcomed, ended happily in an atmosphere of active student participation for three days!
This English camp is mainly based on Theme Parks! The camp teachers of Qiaoying gave full play to their professional and friendly qualities, and provided three days of substantial learning and English interaction for our students in Taiwan. On the first day, in order to let the students and teachers get to know each other better, the teachers specially designed a small game for the opening. The questions were turned out through the turntable. Each question was related to everyone’s interests. The children who were named had to introduce themselves according to the questions turned to! Although the students were shy, they still bravely introduced themselves to everyone in fluent English!
On the first day of the camp, the teacher guided the students to discuss the many attractions of the amusement park, and then introduced many famous amusement parks in the United States to the students with rich content and short films (such as: history, culture, and amusement features), including Hersheypark, Walt Disney World-EPCOT, and Universal Studio;
The content of the second day naturally brought in the characteristics of the amusement parks in the United States and Taiwan; the students began to share in groups some of the amusement park attractions in Taiwan they had visited or heard about, and they also discussed with the teachers of Qiaoying on the amusement park website about the amusement parks and their characteristics that they would report to all the camp teachers and students. Immediately into the third day of activities, the students performed detailed group drills under the leadership of Qiaoying teacher, and then shared and reported their results with the whole camp!
After the report, the teachers also played a memory game on quizlet in the form of a competition. The children were all eager to try and get the highest score!
Before the end, the students shared their experience of participating in this camp, and mentioned that they like the activities of the Overseas Chinese Camp. It is novel and fun, and they can learn and use a lot of English! The teachers also said that the students in Chiayi City are really outstanding and lively!
