Today's Lesson: Finish Food Map & Peer Editing Activity

Today, Teacher Connor assigned two different tasks to the students. The first group was asked to create an English version of a food map based on the features around Chiayi's East Market. The map should include not only classic Chiayi dishes (such as Turkey Rice, Sticky Rice Cake, etc.), but also landmarks like the Cheng-Huang Temple and bubble tea. Each food map was filled with inspiration and creativity, showcasing the students' exceptional artistic talents.

The second group engaged in Peer Editing, discussing common grammatical errors and helping each other revise their work. During the subsequent publicity design phase, the teacher demonstrated examples and guided the students through design elements. Throughout the process, Teacher Connor and Chinese teacher Nicole provided support and positive feedback to ensure every student could complete their tasks successfully.

Overall, today’s activity not only helped the students learn how to collaborate in teams but also sparked their limitless creative potential.
