2026 Winter Immersion English Camp – Beixing Junior High School

The Junior High Immersion English Camp has kicked off with great excitement at Beixing Junior High School!
This year’s theme is Exploring Global Cultures —
World-Wide Winter Camp: Exploring Global Cultures!

The camp began with a fun and relaxed ice-breaking activity to help students get to know one another. Standing in a circle, students passed a ball along with the music. When the music stopped, the student holding the ball introduced their name, school, and hobbies to the classmates nearby. Laughter and interaction quickly brought everyone closer together.

Next, students followed their worksheets and actively approached teachers and classmates around the venue to ask questions, racing to see who could complete all the tasks first. The atmosphere was lively and full of energy!

The camp then moved into a group challenge activity, “Guess the Country.” Each round provided five clues, testing students’ observation and reasoning skills. Teams earned points by correctly identifying the country and spelling its name in English.

The countries featured in this camp include Japan, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, and Brazil, each representing one of the five winter camp groups. Upcoming lessons and activities will continue to explore the cultures of these countries through a series of engaging and interactive experiences.

The excitement is just getting started! Students are already eager and ready to embark on an adventurous journey of global cultural exploration together 🌍✨
