Today, Rod introduced the students to Chen Cheng-po, a renowned painter from Chiayi. Using this theme, he guided the students to practice expressing their interests by saying "I'm interested in ...".
At the start of the lesson, Rod played a short video to help students get to know Chen Cheng-po and his artworks as a warm-up activity. He then invited the students to answer related questions, encouraging them to practice forming sentences and talking about different interests.
Afterward, Rod had the students stand up and play the "Whisper Game." In this activity, each team whispered a vocabulary word assigned by the teacher from one student to the next. The last student then had to find the matching picture and word at the back of the classroom.
Once the students became more familiar with today's vocabulary, they moved on to the next activity. They asked their classmates about their interests and worked together to complete the worksheet that Rod had prepared, bringing the lesson to a close.
After class, the professors, English education team, and supervising teachers all gave positive feedback, expressing their hope that Rod will continue to teach with enthusiasm in the future!
