2025/04/21 – Beixing Junior High School – Jeminah

Every year on April 22nd, we celebrate Earth Day. This year, in addition to introducing this special day during her lesson, Jeminah also incorporated content from the city-designated curriculum by introducing the Dingzhuang Community to her students.

The lesson began with a warm-up question to engage the students, followed by a fun review game to recap what was covered last week. Jeminah then introduced vocabulary related to Earth Day. Before the end of the class, she played a video about the Dingzhuang Community and invited each group to complete a worksheet by answering questions related to the video. Students then shared their answers with the class.

After the class, the professor, the English gifted program team, and the lead teachers provided feedback. They affirmed Jeminah's teaching efforts and offered valuable suggestions to help her develop richer lessons that better meet students' needs in the future.
